Highlights: Golden Eagle - 2 (Nunn) Red-tailed Hawk - 22! Merlin - 1 (Nunn) Northern Harrier - 6 Yellow-headed Blackbird - 1 (Drake Lake) Mountain Bluebird - 8+ (Windsor Reservoir) Great-tailed Grackle - 8+ (Drake Lake) Bufflehead - 12+ Horned and Eared Grebes Brewer's Blackbird Lesser Yellowlegs - 2 Baird's Sandpiper Willet (Windsor Reservoir) Long-billed Dowitcher - 10+ Non-birding notes: Mule Deer in Grandview Cemetery eating flowers; I saved a 14" Bull Snake (I think) only to return to see him run over and American Kestrel eyeballing him-poor guy; we have one of those "lovely" oil platforms (lighted through evening) in Nunn about two miles west of us (at least we won't glow-haha!)
