Adams County:
--2 Swamp Sparrows were reported by Andrews at Rocky Mountain Arsenal on 
November 4.
 
Arapahoe County:
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Larson at Cherry Creek Reservoir near the 
swim beach on November 6.
 
Boulder County:
--2 female Surf Scoters were reported by Nunes at Baseline Reservoir on 
November 1 and were seen again on November 2 by Hatch.
 
Custer County:
--A Red-throated Loon was reported by Edwards at Lake DeWeese near Westcliffe 
on November 1.
 
Denver County:
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Tina Jones at Marston on November 4.
--A possible ARCTIC LOON was noticed by Kibbe at Marston Reservoir on October 
31 and seen again by Tina Jones on November 4.
--Bob Spencer refound the ARCTIC LOON at Marston on November 5.
--2 Swans possibly Tundra were reported by Kilpatrick on November 5 at Marston.
 
Douglas/Jefferson Counties:
--A jaeger possibly PARASITIC was reported by Kellner at Chatfield State Park 
on November 5.  The jaeger was seen again on November 6 by Kellner.  Kellner 
also reported a Lesser Black-backed Gull at Chatfield on November 6.
 
El Paso County:
--At Big Johnson on November 5, Peterson reported an ad MEW GULL and a possible 
GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL.
 
Fremont County:
--A Rufous-crowned Sparrow was reported by Moss at Tunnel Drive in Canon City 
on November 5.
 
Larimer County:
At Timnath Reservoir:
--2 ad Lesser Black-backed Gulls were reported by DeFonso on November 3.
 
Moffat County:
--2 Dunlin were reported by Luke in Craig at a pond behind the county 
maintenance shop on First Street on October 31 and
were seen again by Luke on November 2
 
Park County:
--2 male Surf Scoters were reported by Nunes at Spinney Mountain Reservoir on 
October 31 and seen on November 1 by the DFO Field trip led by Kellner.
--1 imm Surf Scoter was seen by the DFO field trip led by Kellner at Eleven 
Mile Reservoir on November 1.
--2 Surf Scoters (Howbert Point) and 1 Black Scoter (ad male, west of Rocking 
Chair) were reported by Peterson on November 6 at Eleven Mile Reservoir.
--A Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Peterson at Antero Reservoir on 
November 6.
 
Routt County:
--Litteral found and Luke identified a pale juv Thayer's Gull at Stagecoach 
Reservoir on November 5.
 
Summit County:
--At Dillon Reservoir near the marina, the DFO field trip led by Kellner saw 19 
Barrow's Goldeneyes and 1 male Long-tailed Duck on November 1.
 
Weld County:
At Union Reservoir
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Deininger on October 25 and seen again by 
Deininger on November 2.
--A juv RED-THROATED LOON was reported by Pieplow on October 30 and October 31. 
 The RED-THROATED LOON
was seen by several birders including Blatchley, Guarente, and Mark Miller on 
November 1.
 
The DFO field trip for Saturday, November 7 will be to Chatfield State Park led 
by Dick Schottler (303-278-8035).
Meet the leader at 0800 the Swim Beach Parking Lot in west entrace of park.  
State Parks pass required.  This may be a
half to 3/4 day trip depending on birds and weather, so bring lunch and 
drinking water.
 
The DFO field trip for Sunday, November 8 will be to Castlewood Canyon State 
Park and Kingery's bird feeder
Leaders :  Hugh and Urling Kingery (303-814-2723).  Meet the leaders at 0800 on 
side of road at CO 86 and Castlewood 
Canyon Road.  DO NO go into the park.  Bring lunch and state parks pass.
