The Parasitic Jaeger was still at Chatfield State Park this morning between 8am & 9:45am, witnessed by several birders in addition to myself. The jaeger sat on the water much of the time, at various locations. It also flew around a few times, typically in pursuit of a passing gull. It flew right over our heads once, during which I took several bad photos and a couple okay ones.......but Glenn got some really good ones, as usual. Awesome bird!
The Lewis's Woodpeckers were back in the same tree near Louviers this morning, 2 at 7:45am on my way to Chatfield, and only 1 at 10am on my way back to Castle Rock.
