Cobirders, Please join the Saraiya Ruano, moderator of ABA's young birder blog, The Eyrie, as she leads the monthly ABA bird walk at Garden of the Gods park this Saturday, Nov 14th at 8:00 AM. The Visitor's Center parking lot on N. 30th St in Colorado Springs should open at 8 am, but the center won't be open until 9 am.
All ages and abilities are welcome and she will stay primarily on the well-maintained trails. She may check the feeders behind the building before carpooling up into the park. Expected species include Prairie Falcons, Canyon Wrens, Western Scrub-Jays, and some winter sparrows and juncos, among others. The walk should last until at least 10:00 am. Come join Saraiya at this fabulous park with awe-inspiring scenery.
