Hi all,

Ira and Tammy Sanders led a bunch of birders from Denver to the Pueblo Area
today.  I joined in, here were the highlights:

Sunset Park subdivision in Pueblo:
White-winged Dove - 2 (I saw at least 6 here yesterday)

Pueblo Reservoir:
MEW GULL - 1 adult (first seen very briefly at the South Marina tires by me
only, then probably the same bird seen by all off West Fisherman's Point)

PACIFIC LOON - 1 (near the boat ramp at the SWA on NW Side)

Ross's Goose - 1 injured bird (found by Polly & Paul Neldner), we all saw the
bird running around in the rabbit brush like a roadrunner, we last saw it along
Hwy 96, west of Valco Ponds parking lot.  The bird was across the fence, so
there was really no way to try and help it.

Bonaparte's Gull - 20 or so, (mostly at the SWA on NW side of the reservoir)

Double-crested Cormorant - 3

Large numbers of Eared Grebes, and some Western and Horned Grebes as well.

Juniper Titmouse - 4

Rock Canyon:
Black Phoebe - 1

Pueblo Nature Center:
Barn Owl - 2
Brown Creeper - 1
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1

Pueblo City Park:
The usual Wood Ducks, American Wigeon, and 1 Snow Goose, among others
