Walked around a few snowy hours in Grandview Cemetery, west terminus of
Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins (Larimer), between 12:30 and 3 this afternoon.
Only heard one crossbill, I think a Red. Bird activity understandably subdued
in the intermittently falling snow and pretty cold temperatures. Surprisingly,
I ended up with 21 species, which is a good total this time of year even on a
better weather day, with the highlights being:

Sharp-shinned Hawk (adult, probably female)
Merlin (the light was bad, but appeared to be the prairie race, not the taiga
individual I've seen a couple times lately)
Cedar Waxwing (just 1 flyover)
Common Raven (heard off to the west)
Hairy Woodpecker (1, not all that common at Grandview)
Eurasian Collared-Dove (1)
Townsend's Solitaire (1)

I will continue checking Grandview daily for the White-winged Crossbills. Only
when they haven't been seen for week straight would I take that to mean they
might really be gone.
