Jason Beason gets the credit for this one, I think. He, Andrea Robinsong, and
I were at Confluence early this afternoon when he spotted this weird goose.
None of us knew what it might be, and our bird books didn't help much. I took
fifty or sixty photos, and Jason did some searching when he got home. Sure
looks like a bar-headed goose to me!

It was fairly solitary, and did not seem to want to hang out with the snows and
Ross's geese. It also was a bit wary of us, and kept fairly far back in the
pack when I tried to get closer to get photos.
I will let Jason and Andrea add their thoughts, just wanted to get the pics
posted.
