Hello fellow Colorado birders. I just joined this group and wanted to
share some of my recent discoveries. I recently joined the world of
birding after a spring trip to Alaska. Since then I've been exploring
my home state keeping a lookout for any and every bird I can find. The
most recent additions to my life list (from Saturday) was a Northern
Shrike that I found in Weld County along CR-37 just south of the
intersection with CR-108 and a pair of Ring-necked Pheasants found
along CR-46 just east of the intersection with CR-45 south of Lower
Latham Reservoir. Photos can be found on my Flickr photostream:

I look forward to tracking down all the great species reported here in
the upcoming months.
