I've seen a Golden Eagle, for two days in a row, on Weld County Road 5, across
from, and near the Dairy between WCR 32 and WCR 34. There are numerous other
raptors in the area of Highland Lake as well, including what appears to be a
Prairie Falcon, plus Kestrels, Red Tails, Ferruginous, and a couple others I
could not identify. Not much activity on the lake itself, as it is frozen over
solid.

At my feeders are the usual House Sparrows, House Finches, two different
flavors of dark-eyed Juncos, White Crowned Sparrows, Blue Jays, and the
occasional small flock of Goldfinches.

Pauli - in Highlandlake/Mead area
