I forgot to mention that the Fort Collins CBC was held on Saturday, Dec 19. Now that Count Week is over, the species total has risen to 91, with 4 added during count weeek (Bushtit, Herring Gull, Thayer's Gull, Northern Saw-whet Owl)

Species total was also lower with 87 species (compared to 95 in 2008), plus 1 additional during count week (Bushtit). If any additional species not on the list (below) were observed between December 16 and 22 (yes, today is the final day to record a species as "count week" for this Count). Highlights included 2 new species for the count (White-winged Crossbill and a bizzarre fly-by Black-headed Gull), Unusual species and/or high counts are indicated by bold font in the list below. Cedar Waxwing was missing on count day (anyone record these for Count Week)?
