Expanding on Ted Floyd's advocacy of reporting exotics on CBCs: Hasn't Grand Junction had, for 20 years or more, a breeding population of Peafowl? As I recall, in two different places -- east of and southwest of city center. I recall seeing them at Coen & Brenda's extraordinary tepee-shaped bird feeder in Clifton.
In fact, if Peafowl actually continue to breed there or even subsist (a la Ring-billed Gulls), shouldn't they belong on Colorado's Official State List? Or, if they've died out, how long did they survive and continue to breed?
