Don Beltz and I were both viewing the male Barrow's Goldeneye from opposite 
angles today. 
 
We both agreed the bird is found most often just north (as in 100 feet) of the 
bridge going over the Platte River at Florida.  Parking is just to the north 
and east of this intersection.
 
I truly believe he (the male Barrow's Goldeneye) wants to create hybrid 
offspring with the female Common Goldeneye, who he hangs out with and dances 
with.
