Spaces are still available for RMBO's Winter Hawks on the Prairie raptor identification trip January 16. Jeff Birek, RMBO biologist, will lead the trip in the Barr Lake vicinity. Jeffs a veteran hawk-watcher whose professional experience includes the spectacular hawk migration at Veracruz, Mexico. The trip will be expecially valuable for people interested in volunteering for the Dinosaur RidgeHawk Watch this spring. Participants will meet at the Stone House and travel by van.
