COBirds, I traveled to SE Colorado and saw the following interesting birds;
Kiowa County Neenoshe Res - Northern Cardinal (m) Prowers County Lamar Community College - Red-bellied Woodpecker, Carolina Wren (both on south end) Two Buttes Res & SWA ( north side of CR B 1/2) flock of Horned Larks and Lapland Londspurs with 1 McCown's Longspur CR CC between 287 and CR 6 - Prairie Merlin, Prairie Falcon, 2 McCown's Longspurs in flock with Horned Larks Baca County Two Buttes Res & SWA - Carolina Wren, Pine Siskin 9 both at western end near road Bent County John Martin Res dam - 1 f Long-tailed Duck, 5 geese species (Brant flying with 2000 snow Geese NE, Ross's, Snow, Cackling, Canada). Pueblo County Pueblo Res - 1 Common Loon western boat dock, Great Black-backed Gull ad, 2 thayers Gulls ad both at the South Marina. Sue Riffe Lyons, CO
