I took a brief break at the Carson Nature Center (South Platte Park, Littleton) while driving by at work today, and read on the board that someone had seen a Red-Tail pair carrying sticks to a nest. I saw the pair land in a tree immediately north of the footbridge over the Platte (30 - 50 yards north, on the West side), at what could be the nest in progress. If so, for those of us who like to watch raptor chicks grow up and fledge, this could be a very handy spot to view, as it's fairly low and easily accessible. It's also just a 1/4 mile north of the nest that's been successful for the past two years, right off Santa Fe and County Line.
