Following the directions provided, I took a ride down Ridgegate Pkwy. at
about 4:30 P.M. looking for glimpse at the Harlan's red-tail. At the end of
the Pkwy. @ Surrey Ridge (east side of I-25), I pulled over to glass the
cottonwoods and saw two Bald Eagles sitting together. A bicyclist stopped
to inquire as to what I was looking at and the one eagle took off did a
circle and came back to the same tree. I observed for about 30 minutes and
when I left, the Harlan's red-tail flew right over head.

A great way to end the day. I'm visiting from Chicago and tomorrow I'm
going to Pueblo to take my chances with the Snowy Owl. Perhaps this was a
omen of good things to come.
