Feb 13th:
The male Long-tailed Duck (with a long tail), a male Barrow's Goldeneye, a
female Greater Scaup, an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull and an adult Thayer's
Gull were all present late this afternoon at the SWA on the NW side of Pueblo
Reservoir. There are still good numbers of Red-breasted Mergansers, along with
the larger numbers of Common Mergansers and Common Goldeneye at this
location as well.
The first year Pine Warbler was seen this morning in Pueblo City Park by five
birders.
Feb 12th:
Yesterday, I saw a Sage Thrasher at West Fisherman's Point at Pueblo
Reservoir. Horned, Eared, and Western Grebes, three Common Loons, and five
Double-crested Cormorants were present at Pueblo Reservoir yesterday.
Good birding,
Brandon Percival
Pueblo West, CO
