Birders,
Tammy and I went to the Wheat Ridge Greenbelt this afternoon to look for the
Winter Wren originally found by Hansley. We found it at a different location
along the creek that flows under the tree bridge.
We got very good looks at it and I am convinced it is the eastern subspecies.
It had a light throat and breast and the only call we heard besides chatter,
was a chip resembling that of a Song Sparrow.
We have pictures but haven't had a chance to review them yet.
