While circling Union Reservoir (Boulder County) on my personal hawk watching
route, there were 3 Meadowlarks perched up high, singing their little lungs
out. I could hear them through the car window.
Union Reservoir remains 100% frozen solid, with a nice ice ridge in the middle
from the thermal expansions.
If you check the XCel Energy owl cam, you'll notice that an egg is present in
the owl box on Valmont power station.
