While walking with my daughter and dogs along Plum Creek in the middle of
Castle Rock at about 3:45pm this afternoon, I observed a pair of very friendly
American Dippers along the stream. They were north of the last buildings north
of Wolfensberger Road, just upstream from a concrete footbridge with a reddish
brick-stamped edge. They allowed me to sneak in fairly close (never leaving
the foot-path) and take a bunch of photos, which I haven't even looked through
yet. Cool bird for the middle of Castle Rock!

Good Birding,
