Subject: [BIRDCHAT] Denver birding opportunities

Greetings

I will be traveling to Denver CO next week, accompanying Elizabeth to
the AWP conference. Since I am neither a W or a P (at least by the
definitions of that organization), I will be free for a couple of days
of birding. So I'd like to hear from any Denverites or other
knowledgeable parties about birding opportunities in the Denver area in
early April. Here are the parameters of interest.

1) I don't have any target species; I do like to go places with lots of
birds, particularly lots of birds that might be photographed.
2) I will have a vehicle, so I can get to places beyond the city center.
3) I will be free for birding on Th. April 8 and Fr April 9, all day. If
you are free one of those days, I'd be happy to tag along with you to
your favorite birdy areas. I'd even volunteer to drive!
4) Feel free to repost this message on any local or state listservs or
websites that seem appropriate.

Please respond directly to me (drintoul at ksu dot edu), rather than to
the list.

thanks!

Dave
