10 April. Saturday. Had a very good view of Dusky Grouse (single Adult Female) on Raspberry Mountain west of Monument, CO. Elevation was 8200+ feet. I flushed the bird on a hike. It flew up into a pine tree where I was able to approach within a few feet while it sat and checked me out. 39 06.116N, 104 55.575W I expect she'll be headed to lower elevations soon ... Rick Taylor
