On a drive yesterday, we had a single white-faced ibis (high-breeding
plumage) and marbled godwit at the upstream-end of Tarryall Res (CR77 - Park
Co). Visible from a pullout

Along Hwy 67, Friday night, we encountered a great horned owl sitting in the
middle of the road. As we slowed to observe from about 15 feet away, it
flew; nothing in its talons.
