San Luis Lake in Alamosa County today had:
American Avocets - ~10
Marbled Godwit - 1
White-faced Ibis -4
Barid's Sandpipers - 3
Sage Thrasher - 1 singing
Sage Sparrow - 1 singing
In SW part of Alamosa County
Loggerhead Shrike
Home Lake in Rio Grande County
American White Pelican - 40+
Snowy Egrets - 2
many ducks
Whenever I travel to the Denver area from Durango, I try to stop at the San
Luis Lakes SWA and usually find a few interesting birds - especially during
migration.
