We went to Union Reservoir this afternoon hoping for the ibis reported.
Maybe too busy with sailboats and fisherpeople. We saw Pelicans, Western
Grebes, a few Bonaparte¹s Gulls, Coots, a Kestrel hunting successfully,
Mallards, Killdeer, and a group of White-Crowned Sparrows near the entry
station.

Stopped by Jim Hamm Nature Area about 3:30 and had better luck- Lesser
Scaup, Redheads, Buffleheads, Yellow-Headed Blackbird (only the 1), Coots, a
Ruddy Duck (only one we¹ve seen in the area this spring), Canada Geese.

Happy Birding!
Cindy and Jay, Longmont
