Just a heads up for those out and about tomorrow. (Maybe to or from Clover Basin Reservoir or if you get lost looking for it!)
The annual International Bird Migration Day festivities will be held at Cottonwood Marsh, Walden Ponds, Boulder as described below. See the WBC of Boulder's web site for more info: ** *Saturday May 8th 7:30-11:00 Walden Ponds Open Space—Cottonwood Marsh Picnic Shelter * The Wild Bird Center and Boulder Bird Club will celebrate IMBD this year on May 8th. There will be shade grown coffee and treats for the morning provided by WBC. Groups will head out birding about every hour and we will conduct big sit from the picnic shelter. (*Actually, since it's only for 4 or 5 hours we sould call it a "little sit"*) There will be IMBD educational materials available, as well as coffee and IMBD shirts. You can also build your own suet log feeder. Please join us some time during the morning for this great spring event and please carpool if possible. IMBD is a zero waste event.
