Hello all,
Walter Szeliga and I birded Twin Lakes in Boulder this morning.
Highlight was a Gray Flycatcher, calling, tail-dipping, and even
singing the first component of its song. Is it just me, or have there
been more sightings of Gray Flycatcher on the Front Range this spring
than usual?
The other highlight was a White-throated Sparrow at the east end.
Also seen:
Least Flycatcher - 2 for sure ("che-bek!"), plus 2 more Empid sp. that
were probably Leasts
Orange-crowned Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Lazuli Bunting
Swainson's Thrush
Lincoln's Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow - many dozens
Lark Sparrow
