I stopped by the drained Clover Basin Res. at 6:45 this morning.
1- Black-necked Stilt 2 - American Avocet 4 - Semi-palmated Plover 2 - Black-bellied Plover, one in breeding plumage 2 - Killdeer 4 - Spotted Sandpiper 1 - Great Blue Heron 2 - Mallard 4 - Great-tailed Grackles, furthest east I have seen them in Boulder County Peeps - Baird's and Least, I did not get a count. I found none when I stopped by the gate, then when I pulled up to the guard rail a flock flew in and later another flock landed. Maybe 35 total. Yesterday morning about the same time I had around 50 peeps, but none afternoon.
