Stopped by after work today around 3:30 hoping that the Whimbrels were still
hanging out, no luck. The Long-billed Dowitchers were still there and also two
White-rumped Sandpipers in the SE corner. Then the dowitchers started to huddle
around a small branch which I thought I spoked them and the sandpipers took off
so I moved further down the road to scope the west and when a Peregrine Falcon
swooped in on a phalarope, missed and did a few more passes then moved on. The
Peregrine flushed about twenty more peeps that flocked up and headed NE towards
McIntosh.

American Avocets, Killdeer and American Pipits were the only birds left after
the Peregrine left.
