I went to Walden after the posting of the common tern today. It is difficult
for me to determine if it's a Forster's or common however. The underparts are
white, and the tail longer than the wingtips, but the primaries are dark. I
never saw it in flight but it was on a good perch in Cottonwood and I was able
to study it with my scope. I am more comfortable calling it a Forster's. Any
other votes?
