A day with Waxwings, Orioles and a Tanager.......a great banding day! Cool
education opportunity - a female Western Tanager, which some visitors guessed
was an Oriole, followed almost immediately by a female Bullock's. Then a 2nd
year Bullock's. Total for the day was 34 new, 2 returns:

Western Wood-pewee 3 new, 1 return from 2007

Least Flycatcher 2

House Wren 1

Swainson's Thrush 2

American Robin 2

Gray Catbird 1

Cedar Waxwing 3

Yellow Warbler 5 new, 1 return

Common Yellowthroat 2

Yellow-breasted Chat 1

Western Tanager 1

Spotted Towhee 1

Lincoln's Sparrow 1

White-crowned Sparrow (Mtn) 1

Bullock's Oriole 5

American Goldfinch 3

Memorial Day will be our final day of spring banding!
