CoBirders,
Colorado is lucky to have a group of volunteer compilers for the Rare
Bird Alert (Allison Hilf, Ira Sanders, and Dick Schottler). I had planned
a trip from May 20 to June 10. None of the regulars were
available for RBA duties in May. Chuck Thornton-Kolbe tried to recruit
some DFO members to compile in May but was unable to find anyone.
We were going to annouce that there would be not RBA for the rest
of May when Rachel Hopper the CoBirds web-master graciously agreed
to do the RBA. But a family emergency came up and Rachel was unable to do the
RBA so she recruited Mark Peterson who was also
busy with CFO convention duties. We all owe thanks to Rachel, Mark
and Dick for their RBA work in May/June.
If anyone is interested in becoming a RBA compiler, please contact
me for details.
