It appears that orchard orioles are expanding their range a little bit westward. I've seen a few show up at Lon Hagler Reservoir southwest of Loveland in the past several years. Within the last few weeks I have spotted at least three separate males singing in the cottonwoods. And this morning, I watched a pair working on a nest in the same tree where a pair of eastern kingbirds is nesting. Denise Bretting SW Loveland [email protected]
