My father, Jim Garrison of Cortez, passed away on Sunday evening after falling
on Saturday. He had been ill for many years and was unable to get around much,
so I would come down every couple weeks and take him out birding, which was one
of the few things he enjoyed doing, and could get out and about to do. While
he wasn't a regular contributor here, he was the reason I did as much birding
in the 4 corners region as I did. As a result, I won't be providing Montezuma
County reports any more.
No response is desired, please.
