I saw both this morning while on the Santa Fe trail north of the Woodmen Rd
access area. The singing male indigo bunting was about 3/4 of the way to the
gate marking trail access into the Air Force Academy, and the pair of yellow
breasted chats were seen from the trail near Ice Lake. There's a live tree that
recently blew down pointing towards the lake - I saw them facing east from that
spot. There's also a bullock's oriole nest filled with noisy nestlings
alongside the trail at that spot too.
