Hi all,
The dam of the Hodgson-Harris Reservoir in Superior is damaged and so they
drained the reservoir over the last few weeks. It is finally to the point that
it has some decent habitat for shorebirds. A quick binoculars-only check this
morning reveal tons of Killdeers and Avocets, and maybe a peep or too.
The reservoir is south of US-36 and east of 88th st. Unfortunately the
reservoir
is only scopable from within the Saddle-Brook condo complex, where I live.
If there are anything interesting I will let this group know and then we can
arrange something as needed.
