Hi All, Joel and I observed the loon on July 28, and have some poor quality photos of its wings, as it flapped/stretched a few times. Its wings are/were definitely worn/scorched/oiled/???, to the point of our doubting its ability to fly. If anybody wants to see some photos, email me off list.
