visited Thurs at noon - little bit of shoreline on the NW corner. Coots,
Pelicans, maybe 50 Franklin's Gulls, several egrets and GB herons, a couple 30
inch carp breaking the surface in the shallows, and a prize 9 Forster's Terns
mixed in with the gulls. All were in winter plumage.
Checked at McIntosh - no Loon on the south side, only killdeer for shorebirds.
They're replacing the street at the west end off 17th, so access is only on
the east side.
