A slow (I know, I can’t complain, as Stephanie is giving new meaning to the
word…..) day at Barr – 14 banded, 9 species:
Willow Flycatcher 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Audubon’s Warbler 2
Wilson’s Warbler 2
Green-tailed Towhee 2
Spotted Towhee 1
Chipping Sparrow 2
Gambel’s White-crowned Sparrow 1
House Sparrow 1
Lost 2 nets to deer yesterday, 3 more today; that must be some kind of record!
Closed tomorrow (Thursday), then open Friday through Tuesday. Next closed day
is Wednesday of next week.
