The Dever Audubon field trip Saturday located 10 species of shorebirds in
Larimer and Weld Counties.
Notables included: Red-necked and Wilson's Phalarope at Duck Lake along with
two Sabine's Gulls.
An adult Lesser Black-Backed Gull was present in the large gull roost in
northwest corner of Black Hollow Reservoir.
Long-billed Dowitchers, and Western, Least and Stilt Sandpipers were present at
Loloff Reservoir in addition to Lesser Yellowlegs, Wilson's Snipe and many
phalarope.
Crow Valley hosted a Winter Wren and Blackpoll Warbler
