Birds swarmed on Genesee Mtn. Saturday morning for our beginning bird class.

We saw Western Bluebirds, usually a half dozen, at all times. Once they showed,
we saw Pygmy Nuthatches all morning. Ditto Yellow-rumped Warblers. The flocks
also included Steller's Jays, Chiping Sparrows, Gray-headed Juncos, and a
handful (surprisingly few) of Mountain Chickadees.

We saw one lingering female Williamson's Sapsucker, and one out-of-place Sage
Thrasher.

A rewarding morning for these budding birders.
