CO-Birders – The trend of days in the 20s (bird numbers, that is) continues at the Chico Basin Ranch Banding Station, with a 28-bird day today and a couple of good species – a female Black-throated Blue Warbler and 2 White-throated Sparrows. Birds Banded 10-4: Least Flycatcher – 1 Blue Jay – 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglet – 3 Townsend’s Solitaire – 2 Hermit Thrush – 5 Orange-crowned Warbler - 2 Black-throated Blue Warbler – 1 Wilson’s Warbler – 3 Chipping Sparrow – 1 White-throated Sparrow – 2 Gambel’s White-crowned Sparrow – 2 Lincoln’s Sparrow – 3 Oregon Junco – 1 Nancy Gobris Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory Chico Basin Ranch Banding Station www.rmbo.org
