OK, I think larger birds are winning out at Last Chance. I Stopped by Last
Chance after a duddy stop at Brush State Wildlife Area. As if the Sora
appearing twice last week was not enough, another bird today had to outshine
the Sora's size. Last Chance is coming into the dinosaur era. Right in the
parking lot next to the lovely aroma, smelling, fly infested, outhouses were
two, ad. Chukars. I believe they were raised somewhere else besides Last
Chance??

2 White-throated Sparrows remain at Last Chance as of today, 10/5
The other local birds were there, but it seemed pretty quiet to me.

Happy Birding!
