Hey everyone,

Just last weekend I told a birder who was looking for Sabine's Gulls at
Baseline Res that that was not the place, but that they much preferred Boulder
Reservoir. Shortly thereafter I was dismayed to arrive at Boulder myself just
to be immersed in scores of sad-looking marathon runners. Not the best birding
traffic along 51st, and I didn't dare enter the south shore. But this morning
around 9, there was a juvenile SABINE'S GULL walking around on the flat at the
SW corner of Baseline. It soon took off and flew west. Baseline also doesn't
seem to attract Ross's or Ivory Gulls, no murrelets or even jaegers.

Also at Baseline this morning were a few personal Boulder Co. FOS's, including
2 adult HERRING GULLS and 4 HORNED GREBES.
