Hello, Given the recent reports of this species, it is not much to add, but I had one flyover Sprague's Pipit at Bonny Reservoir early this morning. The bird was flying south from the vicinity of the 2nd bathroom east of the northern campground.
I kicked up several sparrows while working the grasses on the north end of the reservoir, but little of note other than a couple definitive Grasshopper Sparrows, a Chestnut-collared Longspur, and several elusive unsolved cases. The grasses near the NE entrance to the park seemed like a fairly productive area. There are certainly still birds in the area and a group combing these grasses will undoubtedly kick up some interesting things. best, Erik Enbody Colorado Springs, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
