Led a group of 7 to the north side of Bonny Reservoir to the pipit hill west of Rd LL.5 We flushed several Sprague's Pipits from the hill without having one land near enough on the ground. Tried for Baird's Sparrow where Mark Peterson and Brandon Percival had one in Bonny SP. Chased a couple sparrows as they kept burying themselves until finally getting a good look determining one as a Grasshopper. A group of Sandhill Cranes flew overhead. Southeast of Bonny, we saw probably 8 pipits in a fallow wheat field on the west side of rd 2 north of rd 78. Pretty quiet day otherwise. Norm Erthal Arvada, CO
