Birding was quite dead today at Manitou Lake in Teller Co. Only 4 species of birds - Pied-billed Grebe, White-crowned Sparrows, Black-capped Chickadee and a very late common yellowthroat, imm plumaged. My latest for Manitou Lake over 20+ years is September 2nd.
