In the middle of August I traveled to Alaska for two weeks. During the first week I stayed at my brother-in-law's cabin on an island in a small lake in Two Lakes where I was able to observe and photograph a group of loons (around 9), as well as a older baby. It was not uncommon for them to swim within 5 feet of our floating pontoon. Other bird images were taken from such places as Denali and travels along the road to Seward. Many of the bear photographs, and some of the other animals, were taken in a wildlife conservation area. Others such as the moose were all images taken from out in the wild.
