The Golden-crowned Sparrow was at the Red Rocks trading post this afternoon at 4:20. I took seed and scattered it on the ground, and the bird showed up about 5 minutes later, then never showed again. White-throated Sparrow seen yesterday did not appear today. Chicadees were especially beautiful in their fresh plumage.
