Folks,

My father and I birded the South Park reservoirs today in absolutely perfect
weather. It was warm and calm and the waters were like sheets of glass.
Highlights:

*Antero Res*
White-winged Scoter - 2 Ad M near the dam
Common Loon - 4
Pacific Loon - 1
Surf Scoter - 2 (1 M, 1 F)
Sandhill Crane - 20
LOTS of ducks

*Spinney Mtn Res
*Bald Eagle - 1 Ad
Prairie Falcon - 1 Ad
Tundra Swan - 5 in the North corner
Hundreds of ducks
Thousands of coots

*Elevenmile Res
*Common Loon - 2
Surf Scoter - 3
Couple hundred *aechmophorus* grebes
~50 Eared Grebes

Good birding,
